“Our business plan is the reason for our success!”
The first thing we did with Larry was create a business plan, which became the foundation for the successes in our company. This provided a visual goal which included changing our production process. Additionally, adding an education process with product certifications for our employees.
We Joined a buying group and have focused on product offerings to match with brands which enable better profit margins. This has seen our bottom line grow more than 500%, even though our total revenue was mostly flat from 2018 to 2019.
Sean was able to sell the same volume of revenue in 2019 by himself as Tech Automation did in 2018 with 2 fewer salesmen since we cleaned up our staff. I attribute this to the fact that Sean focused on the important projects and new clients instead of wasting time. Overall we are off to our best first quarter ever with over $1M in signed contracts to start the year. We will maintain vigilance on expenses and profitability while cutting underperforming employees much quicker than we have in the past.
